Many apologies to everyone who's left messages and have never received responses for me. They do not go unappreciated.

Two years, 4 jobs, and 5000 DA pageviews later, I'm still doing what I love doing most, and that's design. Even though it's not much fun at work when all you're doing is just following layouts and obeying corporate guidelines and briefs, I've discovered that it's important you have fun learning new things as you go. Sounds cheesy, I know, but its true. It's taken me awhile to restore my belief in that notion.

That said, I'll be starting a new job soon as an in-house graphic designer at a media and publications company. I'm scared/excited/nervous/anxious/happy at the same time.  

I also have a new car *griiin* - a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer. Any excuse to get out of the house to drive it does it for me, even getting the mail. hee hee.

Looking forward to the long weekend. Spring is finally here and I can finally put on my flip-flops and enjoy a bit of sunshine
